Straker

Enough with the ideas now, get constructing!

Images/Photos

I will make sure I have a mixure of close up, medium and long shots of the band/artist featured. I will do this so the reader can see different shots and views of the band. Because my magazine is featuring a band I may want to include individual pictures of band members so they can be seen as individuals rather than just the group itself. I will also have to make sure that the images are an appropriate size so I can have room to fit in other aspects of a music magazine such as text, headings and pull quotes.

Long shot- Get to see pretty much whole of person, can focus a lot more on their styling, usually looking more happy or glamourous.

Medium Shot- Get to see a bit more of the artist, can focus a bit more on their styling, more room for more than one image.

Close Up- Lets you just see the face of the artist, makes you feel up close and personal to them, stories tend to be about a trouble and problems in their lives so they look more vulnerable.

Band Styling

Bands Names Ideas.

My favourite name for my band is 'Little Pop' this name is young and interesting, it makes them seem vulnerable by using the word 'little' and the word pop will tell the audience immediately what kind of music they create.

Articles

These stories help promote powerful women which I think will appeal to the target audience of women. There are also some stories about everyday subjects that the young woman might be feeling E.g. "I didn't feel I fit in before I joined (bands name)", this might be a similar thing than someone else in a band are feeling.
